Akshaya Training being held at Thrissur

Insight as part of its roll out throughout Kerala, is conducting training on the assistive technology for the visually challenged in Thrissur on the 18th and 19th of September. The two day training programme is being imparted to entrepreneurs and trainers of various Akshaya centres in Thrissur. The Akshaya centres would set aside a computer enabled with the screen reader technology, where a visually challenged person can come and acquire training on basic computer usage.

Insight has successfully completed the training programmes for the Akshaya entrepreneurs at Malappuram and Thrissur in August.

National Conference held on September 3rd

The National Conference on “Enabling the differently abled with the use of ICT, 2008” held in The Residency Towers on the 3rd of September turned out to be a huge success. The conference showcased the works of various organizations and individuals across India in the field of accessibility. We thank all the participants who took out time from their busy schedule and attended the conference.
