Mozilla Firefox plugin to enhance web navigation

Mozilla Firefox has an extension, which makes navigation through the web easier for a person with visual disabilities. On installing this, you can invoke a window by either pressing ALT+SHIFT+L or going to Tools->Link List in the menu bar. This window enlists the links that are available on a particular web page and can be navigated using the up and down arrows.


Distribution of free PCs started

Distribution of PCsThe distribution of free PCs for the visually challenged has begun. The PCs are being distributed to all the master trainers who underwent training at Insight. In all 15 PCs are being distributed. These PCs were donated by SBI and SBT. The assistive technology for the visually challenged called Orca is also being provided along with the PC.
